Hi, I'm Patrickson
An illustrator from New York, NY. Stories are intertwined deeply in my work — I digitally paint expressive illustrations, primarily portraits, to capture the emotions hidden in a subject's narrative.
Alongside commissioned work, I'm developing The Hierophoenix: characters and environments for a personal narrative project. Pain is an old friend — one death after another, until a final rebirth and revelation.

What is the Hierophoenix?
Hierophoenix is a creative universe about finding the fire within you.
Inspired by the Arcana, the Phoenix, and the Hierophant, it explores struggle, transformation, and rebirth through animation, characters, and storytelling.
At its heart is Inspire—a living flame born from the ashes, reminding us that even when your fire fades, it can burn again.

Circle Story
The people are the "eyes."
They actually can't see.
The only two who could
used their imagination.
The villains want to make
the world they are now painting
with color, black again.
The Pale
Circle is set in The Pale, a dulled, colorless world whose people — the Eyes — have lost the ability to see. Long ago the world was vibrant, until Nebula, a dark celestial force and son of the void-king Lucifer, set out to return everything to black.
Sunny & Luna
Raised by an Elder who can still "see through memory," Sunny and Luna are descendants of the Sun and Moon — the only two who can see at all, through imagination. The Elder gifts them enchanted hats, relics from a time when magic and color still flourished, which let them perceive the world in vivid color while they play.
Sunny — Sun-descended. Light & flame. Impulsive, brave, humorous. Powers: Solar Flare, Radiant Pulse, Ember Step.
Luna — Moon-descended. Illusion & tides. Intuitive, cautious, contemplative. Powers: Lunar Mist, Gravity Ripple, Dreamlink.
The Hide
Deep in the forest, Sunny and Luna find a black house that shouldn't exist in a world no one can see — home to The Hide, a playful, shape-shifting disciple of Nebula that mimics anyone it encounters. It cannot be beaten by force, only by understanding the true origin of the shadow it wears, and naming it.
Chapter One — The Colorless Beginning
Sunny and Luna begin painting their village with berries, fruit, and the sticky saliva of a hidden goblin beast — monsters only they, and animals, can see — reviving a lost sense of identity among the villagers. After their encounter with The Hide, the Elder's third eye opens in alarm. She lies to protect them, and is killed by The Hide soon after. Her spirit leads Sunny and Luna to the ancient carousels, where they learn the truth of their lineage and prepare to face what's coming for the color they've brought back.
